I’m Jiatao Cui, a director, producer and graduate of Beijing Film Academy and the UK’s National Film and Television School.

I currently focus on low-budget short films and horror, with additional experience in commercials and vertical dramas.

As Founder and Executive Producer of Huge Wave Film Ltd, I develop projects from concept to delivery, balancing creative vision with budgets, schedules and resources. My background spans feature film production management in China, youth-focused digital content and managing international crews of more than 40 people.

Open-minded, ambitious and hands-on, I bring a practical approach to creative problem-solving and a collaborative spirit to every project. I welcome opportunities to collaborate with filmmakers and production teams, learn from different perspectives and bring compelling stories to life across film and digital media.
